In the first time since Israel went into Gaza, mass rocket strikes have been conducted across Israel, however these are special as they are reported to have been launched as a part of a coordinated strike from Syria, Lebanon and some larger missiles from Iran. This comes as a severe escalation of force in the region, with Iran publicly denouncing Israel’s actions in Gaza, with the ayatollah calling it “The worst crime of our age, and a stain upon the dignity of all mankind.” The Ayatollah would go on to decree all actions against Israel from this point on are not that of politics, nor as a war between nations, but the actions of a veterinarian putting down a rabid dog, so as to prevent it from hurting anyone else. Israel in return has called up all reservists, and issued new rules on conscription, with the common phrase seen across Israeli social media being the phrase. “Never Again!”

Israeli forces have already begun crossing the border into Lebanon and Syria, with forces pushing into the Golan Heights to little resistance. UN forces without orders to fire back have been bypassed, with Israeli officers stating that if anyone stands in their way, they will be treated as hostile. The skies above Syria and Iraq are now alit with dogfights between the Israeli and Iranian Air Forces, as new Russian S-400’s alongside mass UAS strikes on Israeli air bases from deep within Israel’s own borders complicate the air war. Already Israel has called upon the United states to fulfil its end of its oath to defend Israel, however Joe Biden has yet to respond or speak on the issue at hand. This comes in the face of the large reposition of US forces in Europe for the Steppe Defender exercises. Regardless of the US stance, for the moment Israel stands alone once again like during the days of the Yom Kippur War for the time being.
All this comes in tandem with a series of back and forth cyber attacks between Iran and Israel resulting in the loss of sections of the power grid, and manipulated stock and bank information resulting in huge issues with infrastructure and economic fluctuations in both countries. As such it has been difficult to discern what information is true or really what is happening in the Middle East, but one thing is shared, the threat of a possible Nuclear War in the Middle East has never been higher.
