Operation Dustbowl, the American lead operation against the Terrorist Assad regime in Syria, has been underway for some time, and U.S. forces have accomplished all immediate strategic objectives, CENTCOM Commander has said. In the short time U.S. forces have been engaged in Syria, the SAA (Syrian Arab Army) has been steadily dismantled in a series of defeats across Western Syria. While Time Tables have not been shared with AAN World News, several leading Pentagon Officials believe this will be a repeat of the Gulf War in terms of time, if somewhat slower. The main difference here is a policy of complete disarmament of the Syrian state, and various terrorist groups. Noting the failures of Iraq, the current objective on the ground is more for a defeat of the entire SAA, and other groups, at the cost of time.

The belief is this will lead to a far more pacified country and the transitional period will be far more stable. One General was quoted as saying. “We aren’t Russia, the American Army is an army, and we can actually promise the people a war that can be won, unlike those in Moscow.” This has obviously drawn much ire from the Russian Federation, who have not only decried the quote as pointless American boasting, but also the Coalition intervention in Syria as illegal, noting the current state of affairs risk escalating into a possible WW3 scenario. American officials have so far not made any comment to these allegations, however it is noted that there are reported movements of Russian forces amassing in the Caucasus, though experts believe it to be no more than simple boasting, noting the Russian War in Ukraine has entered its 4th Year.

Back in the United States, there have been mass protests against Operation Dustbowl, with many saying it is a return of the forever wars of the early and mid 2000s. Already protests in front of the white house have entered their fourth week, as National Guard and Regular Army units begin mobilization efforts for either the middle east
